  1. Does not fit all P60 Surefires review by Michael on 8/25/2012
    Rating

Had to bore the nose of my Model 660 Surefire to 0.852" to 0.600" deep in order to seat the P60 LED replacement. Fortunately I have the machine tool capability to do that.

Replacement now works fine as does the original incandescent lamp.

  2. Perfect Surefire G2 Replacement review by Staminaa on 1/22/2010
    Rating

I replaced the bulb in my G2 Surefire with this one and am so happy with the light output. Really bright - as the other reviewer stated just remove the spring from the outside of bulb and it drops right in. Great Value

  3. Good Product review by Tom on 12/27/2009
    Rating

This works great for my G2 Nitrolon. Upgraded from the original (non-LED, battery-eating) bulb that came with the G2. The only issue I had was that as-shipped, it did not fit in the flashlight. I called Gary at GG, and he explained that I needed to remove the outer spring for this application - now works great! It's super-bright, and I saved quited a bit of $$ vs. the OEM upgrade, which sells for $49.

LED light bulbs are available in a wide variety of shades of white light, ranging from yellowish, to white, to bluish white light, which allows you to customize the mood of your space. Many LED bulbs come in "warm" colors to match the yellowish light of incandescent bulbs, but you can also choose "cooler" colors with whiter or bluer light.

Choosing the Right Color:

  • Light color is measured on a temperature scale referred to as Kelvin (K).
  • Lower Kelvin numbers mean the light appears more yellow; higher Kelvin numbers mean the light is whiter or bluer.
  • Most LED light bulbs are made to match the color of incandescent bulbs at 2700-3000K.
  • For a whiter light, look for bulbs marked 3500-4100K.
  • For bluer white light, look for bulbs marked 5000-6500K.
