For $8 shipped, I think it's a worthwhile deal. Review by Shawn O
Rating I recently ordered it and found the product to not be as bright as I expected (about the same as my dad's crank LED flashlight), but better than what I've been using. I need it for night-time biking so I can illuminate the road in front of me. It does that decently well with better beam spread than my conventional bulb headlight, and it's definitely brighter, but not the piercing brightness I expected. You can't be going very fast. Also, the plastic is NOT unbreakable. I had the headlamp in my backpack on a ride and when I took it out to use it at night, part of the plastic loop that holds one of the straps to the lamp had cracked off. Superglue seems to have fixed it, but I wasn't rough with the backpack so I don't know why it broke in the first place. For $8 shipped, I think it's a worthwhile deal. (Posted on 9/1/09)
