I always carried a 5' length of ethernet cable in my laptop bag for those occasions when wi-fi was not available and cable was the only way to connect. This device is a great replacement for the bulky roll of cable. The body is about the size of a small plastic container of dental floss, and of course the plugs stick out on each end. It takes up practically no room in the laptop bag, and it works perfectly. Well worth the price + shipping!
