Instruction:

Not quite good enough for my eyes... Review by nathanhillyer
Rating I ordered this to replace my reading lamp that got to about the temperature of the sun. With a young daughter in the house, it isn't the best thing to have around. This works masterfully heat-wise, as I can run it for a couple hours with it barely getting warm. Light-wise though, it is much much weaker than my former lamp. Even on the max 25 LED setting, it causes eyestrain. I'm not an old man, just barely 24, but I still have issues with it. I have switched to a 4 LED flashlight for now and it is much brighter than this 25 LED lamp. This leads me to believe they are using some weak LEDs...
Other than the brightness, however, it is an awesome reading lamp. I love how you can plug the whole thing into the wall so it is always 100% cordless. In a house with a million cords, every little bit helps. I recommend purchasing this if you can get by with a bit weaker light. I always use my lamp in pitch dark, so if you have a bit of ambient light this would most likely be fine.
As for myself, I am going to purchase the larger lamp they have on the site once they get back in stock. (Posted on 10/1/09)
